A Message from Mike Bartlett...

As a public servant and respected attorney for 32 years, I will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Superior Court. I believe an attorney who has extensive municipal, civil law, corporate law and litigation experience will bring needed balance to the bench.

I was City Attorney of San Clemente, and Deputy City Attorney for both Laguna Beach and Stanton, where I advised each city on all matters relating to city government. I was a State Bar Arbitrator in attorney-client fee disputes, and currently practice real estate litigation and corporate law in Orange County.

I am a native Californian and 34 year resident of Orange County. I graduated from USC and Pepperdine Law School, and currently licensed to practice law in California and Washington. I have been happily married for 27 years to Lisa Bartlett, Dana Point’s Mayor Pro Tem.

I enjoy a family legacy of public service dating back to my great-great uncle, Washington Bartlett, who, in 1897, was elected the 16th Governor of California. I am a proud supporter of Crime Survivors, an advocacy effort for victims and their families.
